Vital Vet Animal Hospital has a suite of sophisticated state-of-the-art in-house Idexx laboratory equipment.

This enables us to run a vast number of tests and cost-effective panels such as pre-anesthetic blood tests and general health profiles. We are also able to carry out detailed urine testing and analysis.

Having a laboratory unit on-site allows us to monitor critically ill patients and treat emergency patients quickly and more effectively.

We are able to contact specialist veterinary services through Idexx to help us interpret unusual or complicated results. We also submit samples to a specialist external laboratory when needed.
